Seat Pleasant was recently licensed for repeaters on 453.2625 and 460.0375. The frequencies are for the Highway Department.
Windsor at Contee Crossing FCC License
Windsor at Contee Crossing, an apartment complex in Laurel, was recently licensed for a MOTOTRBO repeater on 461.6625.
Virginia Electric and Power FCC License
Virginia Electric and Power was recently licensed for a repeater on 451.0875 at the Possum Point Power Station in Dumfries.
City of Manassas FCC License
The City of Manassas was recently licensed for repeaters on 451.6000, 452.3750, 452.4750 and 452.7000 in Manassas, and for a repeater on 452.0500 in Nokesville. These frequencies are to be used by Utilities for water distribution. There is a pending modification to the license to change the emission codes on the frequencies for MOTOTRBO.

Fredericksburg City Schools have left the Communications Specialists LTR system. It's unknown where the buses migrated to, but a likely candidate is the Communications Specialists MOTOTRBO Capacity Plus system. Unfortunately, all the groups on this system appear to be using Privacy.

American University Adds MOTOTRBO to License
American University has a pending modification to their existing license for 489.2375 and 490.3250. The modification changes the radio service code from public safety conventional to public safety trunked, increases the transmitter power, and changes the emission designators from analog to MOTOTRBO. In addition, there are now two transmitter locations - Anderson Hall and the Katzen Arts Center.
This modification comes as another American University application is still pending.

DC Correctional Treatment Facility Switching to MOTOTRBO?
The DC Correctional Treatment Facility, an annex of the DC Jail, has recently modified its license. The emission designators have been changed to allow for MOTOTRBO operation. The CTF currently uses repeaters on 464.8750 [ d031] and 461.8000 [ d464].

Avis Budget Car Rental at Dulles Airport has an application pending before the FCC. The app calls for repeaters on 461.8875 and 462.1500. The frequencies are coded for analog and MOTOTRBO.
Avis currently uses 463.3750 [ d116] (R) and 452.2500 [ d116] (S) under a non-narrowband license. The narrowband frequencies in the application will probably replace these frequencies.
