This morning, Fredericksburg Police and Fire switched to the Stafford trunked system. Fredericksburg Fire is using talkgroup 5701 in TDMA mode. Police are probably using TDMA talkgroup 5363, but it is encrypted.

Falls Church Schools recently added a frequency (159.5400) to its license. This will be used in a base-mobile configuration.

CSC Event Staff provides security/crowd control at Nationals Park. This season, they are using a DMR repeater on 463.8000. They are using a few channels on the frequency, including:

Testing on Stafford Trunked System

Last Wednesday, techs were doing extensive testing on Stafford's trunked system. The testing was probably related to the imminent switchover of Fredericksburg to the Stafford system, or to check for proper integration with Spotsylvania's upcoming P25 system. Talkgroup 5716 was called channel 5B, and talkgroup 5717 was called channel 5C.
