The Berkshire 15 apartment building, located at 2011 15th St. NW in DC, has an application pending before the FCC. The app calls for analog/DMR simplex on 451.4375, 451.7750, 452.2000, 452.7250, and 456.4375.

Nordstrom Distribution Center Modifies License

The Nordstrom Distribution Center in Upper Marlboro has modified its license to add several analog/DMR repeaters.

Jiffy Lube Live Switches to UHF

Jiffy Lube Live has switched to UHF simplex frequencies for operations. The amphitheater previously used VHF frequencies, but the license for those expired last year. The frequencies/tones in use now have been seen before in radios from BearCom Rentals.

Park Van Ness, apartments at 4455 Connecticut Ave. NW in DC, has an application pending before the FCC for an analog/DMR repeater on 463.8750.

DBi Services

DBi Services, a company which provides contract maintenance services for the Beltway, was recently monitored on 461.0250 [ d516]. Their trucks were seen on I-495 on the Virginia side of the Wilson Bridge.

Six Flags America Switches to DMR

Six Flags America has switched at least some of their frequencies to DMR. Here's what was found on Monday:

452.2125 [         ] (DMR - Color 3, Slot 1, Group 5)
452.2125 [         ] (DMR - Color 3, Slot 2, Group 6)

DMR with color code 3 was also monitored on 461.8625; this is probably also Six Flags. The license for these frequencies has not been updated with DMR emission designators. Six Flags has another license which expired last year.

The group numbers listed above may correspond to the previous channel numbers - Ch. 5 was Security, and Ch. 6 was Shows.

Nordstrom Rack, which opens October 27 at 555 12th St. NW in DC, has an application pending before the FCC for simplex on 462.3125, 467.3125, 462.5125, 467.5125, and 467.2625.

RIOS Test

This morning, Fredericksburg and Spotsylvania conducted a RIOS test. Spotsylvania talkgroup 00-104 was patched to Fredericksburg talkgroup 5701.

Liberty Crossing Modifies License

Liberty Crossing, located in McLean, has modified its license to add DMR emissions designators to its frequencies. A couple of the frequencies have previously been noted using encrypted Project 25.
