Amazon has an application pending before the FCC for frequencies at four data center locations in Northern Virginia. These frequencies will probably be used as a Capacity Plus system.

The Bender Jewish Community Center of Greater Washington, located in Rockville, has an application pending before the FCC for an analog/DMR repeater on 464.3500.

Capitol Radio Communications recently modified its license to add a site to its trunked system. The new site is at 8300 Greensboro Dr. in McLean and will be using 150.9725 and 150.9800.

American University Adds Site to Trunked System

American University recently modified its license to add a site to its Capacity Plus trunked system. The site will be located at 4400 Massachusetts Ave. and use 461.0500 and 461.5000.

The Quicken Loans National golf tournament, which will run from June 29-July 2, has an application pending before the FCC for DMR simplex on sixteen UHF frequencies. These frequencies may be used as repeaters.

Last year's tournament (and this year's Senior PGA Championship) used a selection of these frequencies in a Capacity Plus system.
