Stafford Sheriff Using OEM Talkgroups

Yesterday, Stafford County was using several of the Emergency Management channels on the county's trunked system for unencrypted Sheriff's Office communications. Emergency Management 1 (talkgroup 4707) was used for dispatch. Emergency Management 3 (4709) was used as an "Info" channel for license/registration lookups, etc. Emergency Management 4 (4710) was used for courts. Emergency Management 2 (4708) was also in use, but the user could not be determined.

It's unknown why these talkgroups were being used for the Sheriff's Office, and for how long this will last, but it was a chance to hear unencrypted Sheriff's Office communications for the first time in several years.
