- The Smithsonian Folklife Festival continues through Sunday, and then runs again from July 2-6 on the National Mall. When I last monitored in 2012, organizers used NXDN on 410.9625 (R) and 412.9000 (S).
- The Quicken Loans National continues through Sunday at Congressional Country Club in Bethesda. See previous post about a temporary license for the tournament. Expect the public safety shared talkgroups on the Montgomery County trunked system to be active. Congressional holds a license for several VHF frequencies; these are listed with tones and uses on my Montgomery County page.
- DC United plays Saturday at 7:00 at RFK Stadium.
