Today in Fredericksburg, Arlington Parks and Recreation senior buses were using 853.5125 [114.8] to communicate. The buses were using the simplex frequency to coordinate parking in the city after traveling down from Arlington.
853.5125 is Metropolitan Washington Council of Governments Channel 1. When member jurisdictions communicate with each other, they must use analog voice with CTCSSS 156.7. But any member may use the frequency simplex, as long as CTCSS 156.7 is not used.
